The duo formed by the cellist Jorge Gresa and the pianist Albert Colomar, was born in September 2017 in Utrecht, where the two young musicians are completing their postgraduate studies at the Conservatory of the University of the Arts (HKU). They discovered that they have a powerful artistic and personal affinity, and it is due to their close friendship that the will and the need to make music came together.
Between 2017-18 they worked both individually and as a duo with their respective professors Timora Rosler, Klára Würtz and Sebastián Colombo. They also received a masterclass from Gregor Horsch. During this time they received coaching from musicians such as Sebastian Koloski and Mikhail Zemtsov (Utrecht Quartet), and Leon Bak.
The Duo has performed in the Auditorium of the Utrecht Conservatory (J.M. Fentener van Vlissingenzaal), the City Hall of Utrecht and the Theater of the Cajasol Foundation in Seville. In addition to this, they have been part of the summer cycle of 'Música als Parcs' 2018 in Barcelona.
